November Discovery
It’s that magical time of year again when cities all over the world light up in preparation of Christmas, and alongside all the new events about town, we of course cannot ignore the beautiful displays and festivities found all over London.
Claridges Display
Step into a world of festive delight at Claridge’s 10th Christmas display. This year’s display was imagined by none other than prolific shoe designer Christian Louboutin whose signature red hue can be seen dotted around the room in the form of baubles and red ribbon. Of course, it would not be completed without the enchanting red Loubi Express train! Customers are invited to take a seat in the beautiful red velvet interior where you can enjoy a glass of champagne or try a delicious cocktail. A great experience out for a truly festive feel in a glamorous setting.
Kew Gardens
If you haven’t yet got into the festivities this year and you think it’s still a bit too early, a visit to this year’s Kew Gardens at Christmas is on the cards. Perfect for family, friends or a couple’s night out, Kew caters for all and is guaranteed to get you excited in the lead up to Christmas day. Now in its 7th year, their famous winter trail takes you down an entirely different route of all-new installations with the Palm house Pond finale featuring the most spectacular lighting displays. Not complete without a cup of mulled wine.
Tutankhamun – Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh
Something a little different from the Christmas festivities but still an absolute must see for any history buff is the new Tutankhamun exhibit currently on show at the famous Saatchi Gallery. Featuring more than 150 enchanting pieces from his tomb, this gives an inspiring insight into the life of the Golden Pharaoh. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience this exhibit before his priceless artefacts make their way back to Egypt forever.
And finally, from all of us here at team Sarah Ward, Merry Christmas and we hope you have a wonderful new year!
